Offshore Europe (2005) 6th - 9th September 2005
Offshore Europe 2005 (OE05) will take place in Aberdeen from 6-9th September 2005. Infield Systems Limited will be demonstrating the Infield Database, Online Systems, Publications, Analytical services and other products.
This key Offshore Oil and Gas exhibition, which following their return in 2001, features the major operating companies is expected to be more successful than ever. Shell E&P, and TotalFinaElf are already booked and other operators are expected to follow.
The Offshore Europe show in 2003 attracted more than 26,300 individual visitors with 25% being representatives from outside Europe. This marked another significant increase in the international nature of the event. 104 Countries and 1400 companies participated in the 2003 show. $325m of contracts were announced or signed at the show making this a key event in the offshore oil and gas calendar.

'Managing Mature Production: A Global Challenge'
This highlights the traditional but always increasing challenges facing the Offshore Oil & Gas industry. These challenges are cost, safety, the environment, technology, resourcing and competiveness. There will be a focus on leadership issues between companies and stakeholders. As of April 2005 most of the Offshore Europe 2005 Exhibition space had been sold.
The technical sessions, for which submissions are being requested, will cover the full range of upstream segments from formation evaluation and reservoir engineering to drilling, completions and production engineering. The Offshore Europe 2005 programme will feature some of the industries most influential speakers. In April 2005 it was announced that Andrew Gould, Chairman and CEO of Schlumberger, had accepted the role of Chairman of OE2005, This came on the back of confirmed attendance from key companies such as Shell EP, Total E&P UK Plc, Saudi Aramco, Halliburton, Schlumberger, FMC and The Wood Group.
